Welcome to the Essex Conservatives’ website. Here you will find all the current information about your Conservative County Councillors and how we as a Group represent you the people of Essex.

With 60 County Councillors out of 75 in total we are the largest political party at County Hall and as a result we form the Administration. Each day we take decisions that directly affects your life and that of your family.

We are proud of our record and in particular the way we are handling the current financial difficulties facing all Local Authorities. Through our Transformation programme we will save £300 million pounds from the budget without affecting front line services.

We are always very conscious that the money the County Council has is your money and as taxpayers you deserve to have your money invested wisely in public services and constantly at best value.

Each of your Conservative County Councillors works hard for you their constituents, and as a team the Essex Conservative Group works hard for each and every one of you.
