I represent the Essex Conservatives with pride. I have lived my entire life in Essex and consider my position as Leader of Essex County Council a real privilege.

Essex is a great place to live, and the Essex Conservatives want to keep it that way.

The Conservative group has controlled Essex County Council since 2000, when we

inherited an authority that was tired, ineffective and clearly unpopular. Since then, Essex Conservatives have worked tirelessly to provide the quality of life that all Essex residents deserve.

Representing the people of Essex is an honour for each and every Conservative County Councillor; we want to listen to your views on the things that matter, and to give residents both the power and responsibility to help us create a bright future for Essex.

We want to work with you to provide the highest quality services at the lowest possible cost to the tax payer. In short we believe in value for money, and opportunities, power and responsibility for the people of Essex. The Essex Conservatives will continue working towards a safer, greener Essex, while keeping council tax as low as possible.
